Nobody was ready for this unexpected news! Just days ago, it was confirmed that K-pop group Momoland, which became famous for their unique concepts and viral songs, will release a Korean version of "Wrap me in plastic", a viral hit song by producers CHROMANCE and Marcus Layton.
This project is the first for Momoland in 2021, and expectations for their 2021 endeavors are high as fans and netizens are curious in what direction the group is going after losing 3 members. Starting early 2019 to 2020 the group has experimented with different sounds and images and now fans suspect that the group will be returning to their original unique roots and sounds based on the original "Wrap me in plastic".
The producers of the song CHROMANCE and Marcus Layton are producers based in Berlin, Germany with many hits on their records - Color, Love You Right, For You, You Got Me, White Tiger, La Libertad, Sweet Dreams, Fairytale Gone Bad, and others. Marcus Layton himself went on Youtube and confirmed that Momoland will sing the Korean version and that there will also be a fantastic music video to go along with it, which is indeed true, because MLD ent. released the teaser for the MV earlier today.
For this collab Momoland has worked with producer CHROMANCE to make the song even more exciting, so keep an eye out for this viral hit song and MV on February 5th at 6 PM (KST)!
